After analyzing this controversial topic for decades, the Italian Senate has finally approved the resolution ensuring full and correct implementation of the international customs-free regime of the Port of Trieste.
As much will now enable an open dialogue with the institutions of the European Union, to clarify the application of this special status, so that for example the unique opportunity to settle some industrial processing businesses inside the port is finally officially authorized.
