Going back to the roots of Adriatic sailing by supporting the Adriaco Yacht Club.
Established back in 1903, Adriaco Yacht Club is the oldest sailing club in the Adriatic sea and the protagonist of the Trieste sporting life. With three Olympic medals in its palmares, including the legendary one of Agostino Straulino, one of the Italian sailors in the world "hall of fame", the Adriaco is one of the reference clubs for national sailing.
Like most of all the initiatives supported by Samer & Co. Shipping, also Adriaco Yacht Club is devoted to training young generations and to bring kids closer to sailing, by supporting the most rooted professional teams in Italy.
In addition to competitive and recreational activities, Adriaco Yacht Club keeps chapters of Italian and international sailing history and both witnesses and leads many episodes and moments in the history of Trieste. It plays a central role in local associations.
