Our warehouses in the Port of Trieste are certified for stocking commodities that are traded on the 'London Metal Exchange' (LME) and the 'London Finance Futures and Options Exchange' (LIFFE), i.e. non-ferrous metals, mostly aluminum, lead and copper, and other commodities, such as coffee and tea as traditionally the most imported in this area.
As international freight forwarders therefore, we take advantage of such facilities and specialize in shipping, storing and delivering such kind of goods, together with additional commodities largely required by the market, like plastics and sugar. In our case trading can both be physical or financial, as clearly these warehouses are recognized by the main international banks and insurance companies.
Goods can be containerized or in bulk and also need chartering of vessels, and consequently our freight forwarding, ship agency and terminal teams do work jointly, providing also customs clearance and delivery by truck or rail once cargoes need to reach their final destination.
