As this industry is so peculiar, calling for skilled professionals with a deep knowledge of national and international maritime laws, as well as worldwide port rules and customs, the P&I business is directly followed by the Company Management.
Since 2017, the International Group of P&I Clubs, including the most important shipowners' mutual societies worldwide, has been requesting a series of qualifications from its correspondents, through exams on modules ("P&IQ").
