The EGO - Excellence Governance - certification includes the most important elements of the international reference standards in the field of quality (ISO 9001), environmental protection (ISO 14001), worker safety (OHSASA 18001) and social responsibility (SA8000), while adapting them to the specificities of the shipping agencies. The certification regulation was shared in its general contents with RINA, the main Italian certification body and was approved and recognized by the FONASBA Quality Standard, the quality standard designed to assist ship owners and operators in the sector throughout the world. It makes possible to identify shipping agents and brokers who operate in a well managed real and safe quality context.
