An "Authorized Economic Operator" is an operator based in the European Union territory, with an Eori code as well, who has obtained, after an audit by Customs, an AEO authorization valid throughout the customs territory of the Community. This authorization gives the operator a "license" of reliability and solvency together with a series of advantages related to the type of AEO authorization requested.
