A new production facility supporting the industrial growth of nlcomp®, a Samer Group company
On 24 July, nlcomp®, a Samer Group company, officially opened rFactory, its first production facility, located in the industrial area of Monfalcone along the Lisert navigable channel.
The facility covers more than 4,000 sqm of indoor and outdoor space and represents an important step in nlcomp®'s development, marking the company's transition from start-up to industrial-scale production.
rFactory is dedicated to the production of sustainable composite materials and already hosts several projects serving different markets. Among the first activities is the construction of the new Northern Light Offshore 34, scheduled to be launched in October.
The facility will also support the production of a new 30-foot offshore sailing boat, as well as projects focused on wind propulsion for maritime transport and components for electric outboard motors.
The opening of rFactory marks an important milestone for nlcomp® and strengthens the company's capacity to develop and manufacture innovative sustainable composite solutions from its new industrial base in Monfalcone, while further strengthening the Samer Group's presence in the area.
