CargoWise Training at the University of Trieste

As part of the ongoing collaboration between WiseTech, the University of Trieste, and Samer & Co. Shipping, two training sessions were held this year for first-year Master’s students from the DEAMS and DIA departments.

Led by Elisa Pegan with support from Davide Galimberti, the sessions focused on practical use of the CargoWise platform and key responsibilities of the international freight forwarder, enriched with case studies on Out of Gauge and air/sea shipments. Andrea Tosolini, air freight expert, shared practical insights directly in the classroom.

A third and final session is planned for second-year students, covering cost analysis and supplier selection criteria in the international logistics sector.
