We attended the 'Terminal Operations Bootcamp' organized by Samer Seaports & Terminals

The ‘Terminal Operations Bootcamp’ is an initiative promoted by our subsidiary company Samer Seaports & Terminals, to help white collars in the group get familiar with port terminal operations. The requests to attend were so many that it will be held in several editions, starting with the first at the end of July.

During a two-day session focused on improving the coordination between offices and the operations department and the tasks to be carried out with a higher level of awareness, participants were given a comprehensive overview of terminal operations, including yard management, vessel operations, container handling, and train loading and unloading.

Through a combination of theoretical lessons and practical demonstrations, the goal was to provide all office staff with a deep understanding of terminal operations adopting a hands-on approach, which proved to be enthusiastically welcomed.
