We were back from Fruit Logistica 2024

Every year Fruit Logistica - the world's leading trade fair for the fresh produce industry - proves to be an ideal venue for us to meet and get updates with carriers, partners in shipping fresh produce and perishables, and customers using our services, both as freight forwarders, ship agents and warehouses’ handlers.

The trade show was held in Berlin from the 7^th to the 9^th of February and, together with over 2,000 exhibitors from more than 140 countries spread across 26 pavilions, as tradition has it we have been co-exhibiting with the Port of Trieste, together with Samer Seaports & Terminals.

Our company was represented by Enrico Samer, our President and CEO, Rita Gollino (Corporate Development Manager), Milly Novakovic (Global Forwarding Manager) and Giovanni Panasiti (Commercial Manager). This year, our booth also hosted an event, chaired by Zeno D'Agostino, President of the Port of Trieste, to introduce the upcoming new Damietta-Trieste ro-ro line dedicated to the agro-industrial sector and due to start in autumn with DFDS ferries.

The presentation took place in front of a large audience and among the speakers, President D’Agostino was joined by Lars Hoffmann, Vice President and Head of Business Unit Mediterranean DFDS Istanbul, Antonio Paoletti, President of the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce, Armando Varricchio, the Italian Ambassador in Germany, Abdel Aziz Elsherif, Head of the Commercial Office of the Egyptian Embassy in Germany, Roberto Alesse, Director of the Italian Customs, and Matteo Zoppas, President of the Italian Trade & Investment Agency (ICE).
