A smooth launch of a 100-ton hull

In the last few days, we coordinated the launch of a 31.4-meter-long hull, weighing over 100 tons. The hull was manufactured by an Italian shipyard in a 2,000 sqm area specially set up at Seadock, our heavy lift terminal in the industrial port of Trieste, with its 180 m pier and 450-ton shore crane.

The hull was moved from Seadock's central aisle onto a 6-axle SPMT, lifted by crane and put into floating position.

In the final stage, the hull was pulled by tug to Southern Italy to complete the maxi yacht’s fitting.
