Pallanuoto Trieste: let's recap a successful end of year!

Last spring, the A1 Pallanuoto Trieste male team ranked third in the regular season, fourth in the playoffs and qualified for the Euro Cup for the first time ever.

The adventure in Europe led the team to win the first two preliminary rounds played in Barcelona (Spain) and Šabac (Serbia) and the eight finals by beating the French team of CN Noisy-Le-Sec. They also qualified for the Final-Eight of the Italian Cup.

The A1 Pallanuoto Trieste female team also performed greatly. They have consistently ranked fourth at national level, which granted their participation at the Italian Cup Final-Six in March next year.

Some athletes of the male and female teams have also played in the Italian Settebello and Setterosa (the national teams) on several occasions.

Lastly, the bronze medal won by Lucrezia Cergol at the European Championships is once more worth mentioning.
