The first edition of ‘ShipMag Colloquia’ was organized by the homonymous online magazine and held in Trieste on the 20th October.
It was aimed at strengthening the dialogue and building common views between industry and logistics. Samer & Co. Shipping was one of the partners of the event, which saw a wide and highly qualified participation of logistic players, representatives of industries related to the shipping sector, and the local institutions.
The conference was the opportunity to analyse the Italian transport system, propose and share new business models. Italy is a natural logistic platform which is well suited to the development of new economies.
Our President Enrico Samer attended as panellist, sharing views about the new requirements of medium and large enterprises, investments in digitalization for the logistic world, the boost in intermodal transport.
A special emphasis was given on the short- and medium- term projects of the port of Trieste, whose ever-increasing connections with Central and Northern Europe and recent investments by foreign players are indicative of a virtuous example of aligned and proactive stakeholders working together.
