The new multipurpose terminal of the Port of Trieste launched its operations under our name.
On the 20th March ‘our’ M/V Ulusoy 14 was the first ship to berth at the socalled Trieste logistic platform which, since the beginning of the year, has been managed by Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA), the German giant in logistics and real estate.
Ulusoy 14 is one of the Ro-Ro vessels that, along the Türkiye-Europe Sea Highway, connects the port of Trieste to Ceşme, on the Aegean Sea. Our offer expands the additional weekly call to the new terminal end was considered for the increase of the traffic along the served line.
Ulusoy 14 will dock there every Saturday thanks to the new 35-meter-wide ramp, expressly built to host the latest generation of ro-ro ships operating in the Mediterranean.
The beginning of the operations at the new terminal coincided with the appointment of its CEO, Antonio Barbara, a young manager with a long experience in port logistics and operations gained between Italy and Türkiye.
