Our International Freight Forwarding dept. has recently managed the handling of some technical machineries used for processing and maintaining rail tracks.
The four railway wagons, ranging in length from 4 to 22 meters and weighing 5, 25, 45 and 77 tons respectively, were produced in Sweden and Norway. They departed from the port of Wallhamn, in Sweden, bound to the port of Genoa. Our staff took care of the port operations and the on-carriage by road of the cargo, which was moved to the final destination in Lecco on exceptional trucks.
Once there, the last operation phase took place by unloading the machinery in the Lecco railway yard.
