In the recent weeks we have organized, in cooperation with a Russian freight forwarder, the handling of an oversize cargo on behalf of a multinational company. In detail, we organized the transfer of two 55.6 tons heat exchangers, purchased in Italy and destined to a refinery in Omsk, a city in Southwestern Siberia, 2,700 kilometers far from Moscow.
The cargo was first moved from Venice Marghera to Porto Nogaro by an exceptional double-road convoy, and then loaded on the Russian-flagged cargo ship Anatoly Nikolaev. From Nogaro it sailed to the port of Rostov, on the Northern shore of the Sea of Azov and from there, it finally reached Omsk.
